Guy Tempier (Born 1960) was born in Marseille. He has his studio at the Pointe Rouge with permanent showroom. He had his first exhibition in 1981 which was vey successful and this led to many more exhibitions. Tempier was naturally devoted to surfing, a theme that’s dear to him. Sailing since the age of seven years, the artist always returns to his favorite theme, the environment of the sea and the sea itself: ropes and shackles, headlights, sailing or sharp, colorful fish and white birds. The paintings of Tempier are surprisingly realistic. Behind the sobriety and accuracy hides a perfectly mastered painting technique and style. This allows him to focus on the creation of his art, playing with shadows and lights, perspective and framing. And then there's what made it so special with smooth gradients, sharp edges, which showcase his subjects.

Whether for other topics, or for his Marines, as everything revolves around the 40 'and 50' mechanics of aircraft and car, the search made of cloth, chrome, and wood of carroseries, is simply amazing. Many observed that Tempier’s artistic maturity was that of a man who worked hard and deserved the praises that he received. Not only for his exhibitions in salons in France, but also in Germany, working with the United States and Japan. Tempier also made posters, painted walls and participated in various artistic events such as Cools Globes or Cowboy Parade. His art is available in many outlets all over the world in a variety of finishing options.
