Kevin Muggleton (Born in 1966) was born in southern England. He never had the chance to take root because his father who was an army paratrooper was always moving from one assignment to another in different places. By the age of 6, Muggleton found himself living in the East, and since then has lived and worked as an artist, film maker and photographer on every continent. The textures and colors of his paintings represent the changes in moods and light of his travels to different lands. For him, art is a lifestyle, the more of life an artist experiences, the more fascination the art world becomes. Muggleton works with a combination of oils and acrylic glazes. Currently, he lives in Denver Colorado with his son Redvers Ténéré and wife Christine.
Photography, film, painting, sculpture and design, are indeed separate disciplines, but each subject excites him, and it is this excitement that drives his design process. He says that photography is exacting because there’s little illusion to the subject matter. In his painting process, he builds layers of paint from a crisp white surface into an eye-catching piece of art that satisfies like no other experience; and the process of shaping, bending and welding metals lets Muggleton understand boundless creativity. His art is available in a variety of finishing options. This he believes is what has increased the collectability of his art. His art has found its way into many homes, galleries and museums around the world, and his client base is constantly expanding.
