Michael Hudson was born in 1977. He was born in Australia, and grew up in Australia, England, and the United States. He loved art from a young age and always had the urge to create. While attending Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1999, he was introduced to glass, and in 2003 he received a B.F.A in Art and Design with a specialization in glass. Michael got attracted to photography in the late 1980s when he photographed Princess Diana and the British Royal Family. He is now an accomplished photographer who tries to move people emotionally and inspire with wonder and beauty. His photography mainly focuses on the theme of Beauty. It is the theme that runs through all his photographs. His photographs are uplifting, and they highlight some of the beauty he has found in various corners of the world.

Michael is interested in capturing feelings or emotions, rather than all the details in a scene. He looks to photographers like Robert Farber and Impressionist painters such as Renoir and Monet, for his inspiration. He is also very much influenced by the work of Charlie Waite, the author of The Making of Landscape Photographs. The book helped him study the composition, and pay attention to every element before taking a photograph. Michael has been a freelance photographer for over twenty years. This profession has allowed him the freedom to work on commercial assignments, while giving him time out to travel the world in search of beauty. Since 1985, he has been living near Chicago, with regular trips back to England. He travels whenever possible, which he feels is never enough.
