"Peaceful Harbor" by Robert Radcliffe is am infamous image of a large ship with white sails, pulling into a quaint and quiet harbor at night. There's a bright full moon in the cloudy and dark blue sky, and a small harbor village can be seen on the left. There are just a few windows with lights that can still be seen glowing on the dark night. Though there is little information available on this print and it's history, it appears to be from as early as the 1700's. For some, the mystery surrounding the image, the artist and the location that inspired it make this print a conversation piece, adding further to its beauty and appeal.
Very traditional in nature, this print works well for living rooms, dining rooms and offices. An ornate silver or gold frame would be a recommended finishing for the print.
