Barbara Mock is an American artist, well known for floral and serene scenes in nature. This whimsical image, titled “Spring Nesting I” is a little bit of both. The image features a small brown bird, perched on the side of a small green leafed plant that’s intertwined in and around a clay pot. The small nest of the bird lays next to the pot. The background of the image is muted gray, brown and light blue tones, making the image blend with many color schemes.
Painted in oil and decorative in nature, this print could complement many of the more traditional décor styles. With a white frame and wicker furniture, it would be a great addition to a porch or sunroom. A brown frame would make it a great piece in a living or bedroom with darker furniture.
