Tina Chaden is an award-winning designer, creative consultant, multimedia artist and photo stylist. She also deals in fine art prints, wall décor and fine art commissions. Her favorite mediums include photography, vintage postcards, acrylic medium, watercolor, stamps, plaster, burlap, linen, paint and paper. Her work has appeared in museums and galleries across the country as well as in the Whitney Museum of American Art and in Smithsonian International Traveling Exhibitions. In addition to her work in the fine arts, she’s also a 3-dimensional illustrator, graphic designer and photographer whose clients have included major magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens, Discover, and Time. Tina is a very versatile artist. Her wide-ranging talents have led her to direct documentary videos on the theater arts, illustrate books and design children’s’ toys. A native Chicagoan, she presently resides in upstate New York.
Tina is a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from where she received her BFA. With the launch of her online store, Tina offers a new collection of fine art prints that mirror her love of collectibles, travel, and nature. Tina believes that art is a means through which she communicates to her viewers her feelings about her subjects. That’s why she strives to keep everything simple as she believes that making the work complex may interfere with the intended interpretation. Much of her work is influenced by her childhood and by the places she has visited and the people she has interacted with. She gets inspiration from the feedback she receives from her clients and viewers.
