The work of artist and designer David Carter Brown is rooted in the rich tradition of American Folk Art. Born in New York City, David, after attending Parsons School of Design, began his career producing handcrafted and hand-painted designs in the Folk Art tradition. Since then he has produced many licensed collections in wall coverings, china, and accessories, all in the country style. Working from his studio in the rolling hills of Millbrook, New York, David is constantly inspired by his rural surroundings, rich in the traditions of farming and American country life.
