Decorative Ivan Reyes Wall Art

Ivan Reyes was born in June, 1971, in Havana, Cuba. His artistic career began with a hobby of playing the congas. He eventually turned this into a career, earning his living by playing the congas and teaching music. This led to a musical tour of the U.S., where he saw the opportunities not available in his homeland. After moving to the U.S. and receiving political asylum in 1999, Reyes began to explore Ivan was inspired by his newfound freedom to explore a variety of resources in both his artistic and musical creations. Upon arriving in the United States, his traditional art education developed into a unique vivid style. Reyes combines painting with collage on large canvases to produce powerful abstract works.
