Lexie Greer is an artist who comes from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She loves to paint more than anything else, but being a mother of 2 young boys, this isn't always practical. However, she counts herself lucky to be able to be creative digitally too. Her favorite mediums are illustration, photography, watercolor, digital illustration, pastel and acrylic. Her subjects of choice are nature, flowers, patterns and animals. For her, nature has always been the greatest inspiration. And since she started working seriously as an artist, she has tried to capture this miracle (nature) in the form of digital illustrations and photographs. Lexie has been drawing and painting since her earliest childhood and she has been focusing on animals and floral themes. Currently, she is still experiments and creates images on regular basis, thanks to digital paths.
In addition to natural photography, the artist is particularly fascinated by typography, patterns, indigo blue and abstract drawings. After working for a graphic arts company for close to 10 years, she decided to become a freelance artist and she has been working in this capacity for the more than 5 years. Lexie is strongly drawn to pattern and she finds inspiration in the recurrence of forces and forms of nature. The artist aims at creating imaginative works; works that are luminous with color and soulful. Her unique perspectives in art come from the fact that she likes to experiment and is open to learning from her fellow artists. She believes that no single artist is perfect and that learning a continuous process.
