Heather Taylor was born in Los Angeles. He displays an intrinsically incredible California-cool intelligence and sophistication that inspires the businesswoman and inner artist in everyone. She’s the creative director and co-owner of a contemporary art gallery in Culver City called Taylor De Cordoba. She’s also the creative multi-talented force behind the L.A. in Bloom, a beloved lifestyle blog. Heather is also the founder of her travel-inspired line of textiles called Heather Taylor Home. Since childhood, the artist had a passion for design and art; she even created her own business cards for a jewelry line which she printed at the age of 10. While still in college, the California native traveled more than 100 km round-trip to an internship (unpaid) at an art gallery which then led her to a desire to experience New York City, considered by artists and art lovers as “Mecca.”
After a couple of years Heather returned to the West Coast after she had spent time learning everything she could about running a gallery. In West Coast, she worked as an assistant to a producer. After awhile, she realized she was able to stand on her own if she worked hard enough. So she gained the confidence to open her contemporary gallery that she named Taylor De Cordoba— the gallery embraces young collectors and emerging artists. Her ability to balance her multi-sided career as a blogger, gallerist, writer and designer is exceedingly inspiring.
