Rick Fleury's contemporary and minimalist style of landscape painting is widely associated with coastal New England, Outer Cape Cod and Provincetown. He continues to establish a growing reputation nationally, regionally and internationally. Fleury has used his art as a platform to speak to his viewers on the issues of environmental awareness, conservation and preservation. In 2006 he artist was honored with a solo exhibition which he held at the Cape Cod Museum of Art. Fleury later took part in An Exhibition at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum from the Permanent Collection, and recently he participated in an invitational exhibition at The Cotuit Center for the Arts, the Cahoon Museum of American Art, the Boston International Fine Art Show, The Harvard Club of Boston, the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival and Art and Design 20/21, Boston. Fleury teaches at the Museum School - Provincetown Art Association, the Copley Society of Art, Boston, Creative Arts Center, Chatham, and at his studio.

He’s an Artist Member of Copley Society of Art of Boston, the oldest art association in the U.S. His art has been selected for numerous invitational and juried exhibitions with Copley, and a solo exhibition in 2008 which was a near-sellout. His work is in the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, the permanent collections of the Cape Cod Museum of ArtDana-Farber / Brigham and Women's Cancer Center, the Cahoon Museum of American Art, the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston, Cape Cod Healthcare/Cape Cod Hospital, Ritz-Carlton Luxury Hotels, John Hancock, Bessemer Trust Company, N.A., Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and other private and corporate collections worldwide.
