Giuseppe Torre (Born in 1932) was born in Florence and was inspired by the Neapolitan painters. His father encouraged him to start studying drawing and painting at an early age. He was also interested in art since he was a kid. Whatever free time he could have, he always occupied himself with art. Torre was lucky that he spent his childhood surrounded by many art-loving people who noticed his talent and encouraged him to pursue her interest in art. Torre is now a professional artist who captures a rich sense of image and color in what he paints. Growing up in Florence gave him a vast array of wonderful memories from which to draw. This award winning artist’s welcoming and warm style brings a sense of peace and joy to viewers’ heart and home through his prints, paintings, and wide variety of fine home decor products.
His paintings depict the strange atmosphere of Venice which captivates strangers in the hard fought and delightful narrow streets. They also show the most sentimental corners of Venice. He loves traveling, and he’s willing to work anywhere in the world to improve his skills. He also loves working with people who have the same passion. He’s especially interested in cityscapes and landscapes, but he also loves black and white portraits and astro photography. Torre is a night-shooter, he loves the colors, the mood of the night light and he loves to go with his tripod, alone in the dark.
