Bill Abbott has been cartooning and drawing for as long as he could hold a writing material. He lives in western New York with his beautiful wife and two sons. Abbott is lucky to be working with licensing agents Adam Meiklejohn of MGL Licensing in Europe and the United Kingdom, extraordinaire Grahame Allan in Australia, as well as illustration agents Alexander Pollard in the US. Together they have introduced his characters to manufacturers of figurines, calendars, mugs, cocktail napkins, greeting cards, and a bunch of other stuff. Abbott says they’re all awesome. And he encourages his viewers to buy some so as to embrace the awesomeness. Licensing aside, Abbott’s work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal magazines like Medical Economics, American Legion Magazine, Harvard Business Review, and Reader’s Digest.

The works are available for publishing through Cartoonstock in the United Kingdom, and have also appeared in newspapers like the Malibu News. Before pursuing his lifelong passion for cartooning, Abbott spent 22 very rewarding years in the Navy. His cartoons are just too famous, and surprisingly he’s is not as famous as his cartoons. It is surprising because Abbott has been a cartoonist since his childhood. In fact, he won his very first contest when he was just 11 years old. He won a ten-speed bike in the Kellogg’s Stick Up For Breakfast themed contest. When asked about the inspirations behind his cartoons he said that after many years as a cartoonist, he was finally able to develop characters that he enjoys drawing and giving expression to. Abbott has the ability to animate and infect anyone with laughter and emotion.
