Steve Vaughn is a professional photographer whose photographs are displayed on the walls of numerous private residences and Florida corporations. And not only that, one of his panoramic photographs was sported on a restroom wall at a Hess service station along Interstate 101. It is through the darkroom that Vaughan entered the world of photography. He shot for a theater magazine, and started taking any job offered with the belief that he’d figure it out or fix it in the darkroom. Stephen would read books, borrow equipment and make calls. He always had a camera with him since he had become passionate about photography. Vaughn is addicted to the heightened visual awareness that always looking at a picture brings. He has bee a motion picture still photographer since 1978, and is a founding member of The Society of Motion Picture Still Photographers. He has participated in solo exhibitions at Barriere Normandy Hotel, Deauville Film Festival and at Galerie Photo12, Paris, France.

He has also participated in group exhibitions at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Fototeca de Cuba, and Armand Hammer Museum Sales and Rental Gallery Exhibition, and G. Ray Hawkins Gallery. Vaughn joined the photography career after 30 years of working as an editor for a newspaper business – The Orlando Sentinel. Here he first worked as a sports editor, then as a managing editor and finally as an executive editor from 1980 to 1992. A partial list of his credits includes Mission Impossible 3, Last Holiday, Inception, Burlesque, The Taking of Pelham, The Dark Knight, Surrogates, The Prestige, and Pirates of the Caribbean 3.
