Kathleen Koenig has been an artist for more than 50 years. She began her career in art in 1964. Thirty six years later, Kathleen together with her daughter, turned her art into a business. She managed to create a studio space and began working with watercolors, chalk pastels and acrylics and created incredible art. In all her pieces of art, she uses strong colors and motion to represent power, passion, strength and elegance. Since 2001, the artist has been selling and displaying her art with a wholehearted response from communities and businesses. In 2003, she was the featured artist in “Parade of Lights” for the Ventura Harbor. Because of her performance in the arts industry, she was selected for the Street Banner Project. This is actually a grant issued by the City of Ventura to artists with outstanding works. She also donates to non-profit groups each year.
Kathleen is a lover of the arts and cannot imagine doing something different. She’s so passionate about what she does and is usually very keen to detail. This has earned her respect among her peers. Her art is in many galleries and collections around the world. Kathleen is counted among the best artists in the world and her art is very easy to identify because she has developed her own unique style of producing her art. Even though she has worked as an artist for several years, she’s still open to learning. She visits galleries, art shows, art museums and participate in art exhibitions so as to learn from other artists.
