Heather Kyoht Luterman is an artist, weirdo and wife; obsessed with horror and fantasy. She does creature design as well as paleo illustration professionally. Her work has been featured in magazines, books, news articles, natural history museums, and scientific papers. Heather works primarily with acrylics and other traditional media. Recently, she started using digital media, mainly with the program Corel Painter. Heather was one of the Guests of Honor at Fangcon 2013 and Midwest FurFest 2006. Her online persona used to be coyote but she changed it to aye-aye. Since 2000, Heather has worked on several projects professionally, including the Bestiary Cards, a book cover commission for a Sofawolf Press collection of short stories, the Kennel Club and many others. Her illustrations have been published by Scholastic Books and magazines, and featured in museums. She is married to Luterman Gre7g and lived in Cedar City, Utah, United States of America until 2010 when the family moved to Alabama.

Her talent has made her to extend the range of her subjects. She revealed her natural talents as a youth when she would spend most of her free time painting and drawing. She has established herself as an outstanding artist who works with a controlled but detailed technique, and is recognized as a devotee of high quality work. She has had his work displayed at major art exhibitions earning her a sizable following and numerous awards. Her art has found its way into many galleries, museums and homes all over the world. Critics have praised her for her controlled crisp style of design.
