Through Vlad Gerasimov/Stocktrek Images, Vlad Gerasimov (Born 1981), provides inspiring specialty images in unparalleled quality and accuracy. Gerasimov is based in Irkutsk, Russia where he runs the studio which specializes in creating wallpapers for mobile devices and computers. He has a unique style of illustration, with simple shapes and lines. His works have great themes, promising to win the hearts of viewers and make them happy. Gerasimov was born and has always lived in Irkutsk, Russia. He received education in economics, but has never worked as an economist. His father and older brother are programmers, so he had access to very early computers since his birth. But he did not use computers for design until his brother needed designing help in 1999. He learned Photoshop a bit and started making interfaces (icons, skins, other graphics for software).
As time went by, he also learned PHP and HTML, then started making web sites. Gerasimov worked as a designer in a small company for some time, and then he decided to go it alone, and started my own website, which was only a designer portfolio at the beginning. While working for various clients, he played with Photoshop and created artworks, just as a pastime. Over time, the idea to publish these artworks as wallpapers struck him. He decided to stop working as a freelance designer, and try to make a living only with wallpapers; and that’s how his career began.
