Giacomo Brogi (Born 1822) was an Italian photographer. He died on 29th November, 1881. He managed to create his own studio in Florence in 1864. The studio was located in Corso Tintori and it was his first studio. Brogi He began traveling around Italy and later, in 1868, he traveled to the Middle East in areas including Syria, Egypt and Palestine. The photographer was working in Italy where he made many connections and became associated with the Photographic Society of Italy. After death, his photographic work was continued by his son Carlo. Brogi offered a unique style of capturing and producing images which made his art to be attractive. Several works by him have been sold at auction. He always had a strong passion for photography since his childhood, and over the years had several different cameras.

With each image, the artist weaves together a story that inspires those who view his art. He’s able to attract them to be part of his world where they can sit together for a while and share a moment. He was engaged as a photographer by many clients for a very long time. His images were mainly of architectural works and they have managed to inspire many architects even today. And since he began working as a photographer, he was recognized by many for his keenness to detail.
