David R. Frazier is a third generation journalist who has handled photo assignments for many of the top news publishers in the United States from the early 1970s to date. His images have appeared in Newsweek, Time, World Report and U.S. News, and the New York Times. Due to his good work, other clients began calling to acquire about the re-use of his images for encyclopedias, overseas magazines and textbooks. It became obvious that he needed a filing system for images and it also became apparent there was no demand for news shots as much as the demand for images. The real turning point for Frazier was in 1980 during the recession when news assignments were scarce. He began traveling the Northwest in search of photo topics which would attract a wide spectrum of clients from magazines to text books.

Frazier likes to travel a lot and those regional trips have become global, and his library now boasts a collection of several thousands of images. Today his images can be found in every school in America. In addition to the more than 100 books he contributes to each year, he also provides photos to advertising clients and magazines. In addition to the digital images he produces, thousands of archived images are also available that clients can choose from. Frazier is represented by Danita Delimont, and top stock photo agency that brings together professional artists from all over the world. His art are easily recognizable because of his style of production.
