He was inspired to become a wildlife photographer by his grandmother. He prefers traveling alone and in the process learning new skills. To increase the collectability of his photographs, he produces them in a variety of finishing options and sizes. He has a network of clients all over the world because he has built a name for himself. Souders’ art currently adorn the walls of the some of the most prestigious buildings in the world. He has produces numerous pieces of art all of which are of high quality and attractive. Within the previous 30 years he’s maintained 26 different addresses but his current residence is in Washington. His photographic work is stored in the stock archives of Getty Images and Corbis and he’s represented by Danita Delimont.

The materials he uses to produce his art make them durable and can therefore be used for decorative purposes for many years. Souders studied 3 majors at the University of Maryland and since his graduation he has worked a variety of jobs over the years, including bartending, cooking and landscaping. His professional photography career began more than 3 decades ago when he began working as a news shooter at a small daily paper in Maryland. He worked for the newspaper for some time and then left and started working on his own as wildlife and travel photographer.
