Rebecca Lyon creates illustrations, paintings, and art for ceramics. Although she earlier focused more on design, she found herself using a lot of illustration drawings in her art, inspiring her into doing more illustrations. After some time, her illustrations became so famous that she decided to focus more on them. Rebecca’s passion for art and her educations have all contributed to her artistic success. She studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, from where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors in graphics and packaging. She started out working in theatrical advertising in Los Angeles after her college before she later moved to San Francisco where she worked as a package designer. Her years as an artist have seen her work in different capacities, including working as a graphic designer, illustrator, studio manager, senior art manager, and graphics instructor. Rebecca was born in Arizona, although she lived in Texas and Los Angeles, although she’s been a San Francisco resident for the past 10 years. What’s clear is that her life is full of travel experiences, traveling widely globally. Through these travels, she’s been able to gain a lot artistically and has also interacted with several reputable artists as well. Due to the high quality and content of her art prints, they’ve been accepted by galleries and art outlets, giving her quite handsome sales.
