Beth Thomas is an artist based in Richmond, VA. She graduated in 2002 from the University of Richmond with a degree in English and Studio Art. After graduation, she fell in love with Richmond and decided to reside there. Over the last 15 years, she’s turned her passion for art and writing into a marketing career and a side business as a children's book author and freelance artist. Her favorite mediums are acrylic paint, pen & ink and polymer clay. Beth loves working with clients to create the perfect custom pieces for them. Whether it's a colorful acrylic painting, house drawing or a pet portrait, she would be happy to create a custom work of art just for a particular customer to satisfy their needs. In 2012, Beth was inspired by her love of Richmond and her young nephew, so she decided to write and illustrate and published her first children's book titled Jack & the Richmond Bubble. She also has a shop in Etsy called Bubbles Tiny Cakes which she launched in 2015. The shop features custom small polymer clay replicas of birthday, anniversary and wedding cakes. She says that a small cake is the perfect gift for newlyweds. Since she began working as an artist, she has managed to attract a huge following of loyal fans who usually want to get pieces of her art or her tiny cakes.
