Los Angeles Pop Art (Founded in 2004), also called LA Pop Art, is a Las Vegas-based art company that creates hand drawn text based artwork, known professionally as Micrography. The company was founded by Joseph Leibovic from an idea borrowed from street artists in 1994 when he was living in Israel. He saw the art in the Israeli town of Tzvat and thought of how best he could Americanize it. What came to Leibovic’s mind was to create original artwork pieces that represent whole film scripts, or legendary lyrics of great music artists, using outlines. After thinking of the idea, and while still living in Israel, he continued experimenting and refining it to come with a more mature and appealing style. He did so for 9 years until 2004 when he moved to Los Angeles and brought the idea to life by founding LA Pop Art. Although he initially covered mainly films and music lyrics, his subjects are currently diverse.

LA Pop Art’s work and reputation has grown over time and have been featured in highly regarded magazines, including Rolling Stone, Playboy, Maxim, and Stuff. Besides the magazines, his art has also been featured in high end TV series and films such as The Girls Next Door, Weeds, Workaholics, Battle: Los Angeles, and The Sopranos. It's for their quality, depth, and artistry that they're displayed in diverse collections, including The Ronald Reagan Presidential Art Collection, and are currently being in The Amazing Collection at Ripley’s Believe it Or Not museums located across the globe.
