Maureen Mccarthy has been strongly recommend to work for trivets, tiles, home decor products, trays, dining room and kitchen fabrics and decor, throws, wall decor, and related wall and home decor products. She’s a country artist in rural New Hampshire whose charismatic country images have gained her reputation nationwide. She’s represented by President of Porterfield's Fine Art, Lance J. Klass. Maureen is a well known local watercolorist, and has exhibited her work at several galleries including the Gafney Library in Sanbornville. She’s been making home-made cards, painting and drawing since childhood. She explains that she spent countless hours observing the natural world that fascinated her, and pondered how to portray it in watercolors. Maureen studied art at Northeastern University, attended watercolor workshops and took private lessons. She also supplemented that formal education with much self-taught learning.

She feels grateful to live in such a beautiful area that’s so rich in subject matter for her artwork, and in such a special community of great people. Certain pieces in her exhibit are for sale; while some have been borrowed from private collections. Her art is found in many collections around the world. Also available to purchase are a sampling of her work in the form of note cards. She’s very careful when it come to the choice of subject matter as she wants to increase the collectability of her art. Her art can be used to decorate any space; that’s why they are popular with people from all walks of life and of all age brackets.
