H. Alves is a fine art artist and designer who was born in Brazil in the State of Pernambouco and in the town of Recife. The colors, beaches, light and rivers that surround the place have been her greatest source of inspiration. He’s currently based in Canada, having moved there more than 10 years ago. Although it became more apparent in her secondary school days, she has loved art for years. To sharpen her artistic skills, Alves pursued classes and learned different techniques of art, including oils, watercolors, oil pastels and acrylic. However, she creates her originals targeting the market with her support base being acrylic with canvas. While she was still in Brazil, Alves worked in an architectural firm doing decoration and design works. The artists whose works have influenced her include Danielle Lantaigne, Portinare, José de Moura, Amadeu Modigliani, and Diego Rivera.
Her consistency and passion stems from her passion for drawing and decorating subjects that interest her and her clients. Like many other professional artists, Alves uses her art to express her feelings, touching on a deep interpretation and understanding of her subjects.
