Judith Gibson is a gifted artist who has been working in a variety of media involving watercolors, oils, and pencils. Her subject matter also varies, covering everything from exquisitely detailed wildlife, to exotic portraiture. After Judith earned her art degree, she got employed in an art company where she began a 19-year career in painting. She also worked with an art publisher for seventeen years who published her art prints in limited and open editions collections. She enjoyed a very successful licensing career during that time, with many manufacturers using her beautiful artwork on different products for the home decor market.
She has produced many pieces of artwork for many well-known corporations, as well as for private commissions. She has also produced featured covers for Equine Images, the Texas Quarter Horse Association Annual, The Appaloosa Journal, Arabian Visions, and United Directories, Inc. She has also participated in several major exhibits with the Horse Artists Association. Judith says that when a person looks at her paintings, she wants them to see the deep appreciation for God’s creations that she feels. She has painted and loved animals since early childhood. By the time she was in her early teens, she was already painting portraits that were very attractive. Judith enjoys working with oils. She manipulates the paint to gain effects that she can’t achieve through other media. Judith has participated in many solo exhibitions and her art can be found in many private and public collections throughout the world.
