Rendition

This 2007 Drama/Thiller stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Meryl Streep, and Reese Witherspoon. When Isabella El-Ibrahimi's (Witherspoon) husband goes missing after a flight home from a conference in South Africa, she goes to Washington, DC to seek the help of Alan Smith (Peter Sarsgaard) an Aide to a US Senator. Anwar El-Ibrahimi (Omar Metwally) has been detained in connection with a Terrorist group due to a series of cell phone calls linked to him. CIA analyst Douglas Freeman (Gyllenhaal) is a part of the interrogation of El-Ibrahimi, but is concerned that the interrogation has gone too far.
