"Judy and Marge" is a unique piece by the American artist Lowell Herrero. The print features two heavier set women in their swimsuits wading though the water together. They're both wearing sun hats and one is holding the other, as if to keep from falling in the almost knee deep water. The bathing suits worn but the women are bright yellow and burgundy, with the background of the image being grasses and sky in mutes tones of blue and beige. There's a two story beach house in the far distance.
Herrero is best known for his realistic images of America and the American people. The subjects are portrayed in a way that is very real, yet almost comical, and the balance of the two makes his art a great conversation piece for a traditional styled home.
