There aren't too many people out there who enjoy doing laundry; however,
it is a fact of life that cannot be avoided. If you are lucky enough to have a
laundry room, it should be a place in which you can actually enjoy
spending time. For a conventional look, you can choose from all sorts of
laundry themed prints and signs which would look great in any laundry
room. However, this room is probably only for you so you can choose
anything that you enjoy.
In fact, if you have to spend time in here it should be full of all the things
you love. Often, this room is somewhat separate from
the rest of the house which allows you to go in any direction you'd like.
You are not bound by the décor styles of the rest of your home, so
decide what theme you want and run with it. You can choose anything
from your favorite flower, favorite place or your favorite piece of artwork.
If you love roses, hang rose prints on the walls.
Do you have fond memories of your world travels? Incorporate them into
this room. If Van Gogh’s Starry Night is your favorite painting, by all means
use it in your laundry room. We cannot avoid spending time in the laundry
room, so do yourself a favor and turn a mundane chore into a fun task by
creating a cheerful mood in this area of your home.
