Village Hideaway is a painting of a quaint village by Howard Behrens. The village has a Mediterranean feel to the buildings and landscape around it. There are buildings lined up close together on the edge of a narrow white brick street. The buildings are red, orange, white and a few other colors. They have dark reddish brown rooftops that hang off the side of the building to add shade from the sun. Many windows and doors set along the side of the building with balconies under most of the windowsills. Vibrant pink, white and yellow flowers sit in pots and hang off the balcony railing along the walls of the buildings. Green ivy climbs up the sides of the building walls as well which helps give the Mediterranean feel to the image. Throughout the entire piece, there are green plants, trees and flowers that add color to the village. Behind the buildings are tall mountains that reach high above any building or tree. This charming village is the perfect decor for any room that needs a relaxing touch.
