The artwork features the introductory statement of the U.S. Constitution, written on a US flag. The words are written by hand yet they are clearly visible despite the fact that the colors were intentionally washed out. The artist chose to paint the flag in a manner that would induce idea that the banner was either displayed, or carried into battle.
The choice for darker hues of red and blue, as well as white stripes that seem to bear the mark of time, give vintage valences to this “We The People” art print. That’s why, people would benefit from displaying the painting framed in a wooden frame of dark colors. It will look great decorating interiors featuring more vintage furniture, but can also become the focal point of attention on a white wall.
