Andrew Wyeth Geraniums

Standing outdoors at the Olson's you could line up the kitchen windows. In the near window is awhite cloth thrown over the dirty dishes, just beyond is Christina's head turned toward her red geraniums on the far windowsill and the blue sea beyond. Driving by you wouldn't see all this; but if you waved, a thin arm silhouetted against the far window would wave back.
